The school bus may be coming, but not for another day around these parts! So let’s keep summer going with my favorite summer sangria recipe. I’m sharing it as part of the Carina Summer Party

If you like fruity sparkling refreshing yumminess (and really, who doesn’t?) then this one’s for you:

Sparkling Summer Peach Sangria

– 4 ripe peaches or nectarines
– 1 cup fresh blueberries
– 6 sprigs fresh thyme
– 1 bottle sparkling moscato
– 1 bottle sparkling Prosecco

Cut the peaches into wedges and drop them into a pitcher with the thyme and berries. Pour the moscato over the top and let it sit 4 hours (or overnight!) Muddle the peaches a little now and then with a wooden spoon while you wait. When you’re ready to serve it, pour the Prosecco over the top and add a few ice cubes.
