I’m excited to host a friend and fellow author today! Meet Emma Hart, New York Times and USA Today bestselling author and fellow mom! Here’s her official bio:
By day, New York Times and USA Today bestselling New Adult author Emma Hart dons a cape and calls herself Super Mum to two beautiful little monsters. By night, she drops the cape, pours a glass of whatever she fancies – usually wine – and writes books.

Emma is working on Top Secret projects she will share with her followers and fans at every available opportunity. Naturally, all Top Secret projects involve a dashingly hot guy who likes to forget to wear a shirt, a sprinkling (or several) of hold-onto-your-panties hot scenes, and a whole lotta love.

She likes to be busy – unless busy involves doing the dishes, but that seems to be when all the ideas come to life.

Her new book, The Right Moves, comes out this week. To help promote it, Emma agreed to answer a few questions for me!6451162

In what part of the country do you live? From what part do you originate?

I live in southwest England and I’m a born and bred Devonian.

Do you have siblings? Where do you fall in the pecking order and do you think it’s influenced your life?

I have an older brother. There’s eighteen years between us, so he’s more of a best friend than a brother. We’ve never fallen out.

How did you meet your best friend?

He messaged me on Facebook saying “Fit as!”

We now have two kids.

When did you begin writing?

When my daughter was about one. I needed an outlet for my post natal depression, and writing became it.

What has surprised you most about the process of being published?

The amazing support of the indie community. The friendships built are definitely life-long.

Is writing your “day job”? If not, what else do you do?

It is my day job. If you ignore the two tiny people that take up the rest of my time.

What Jelly Belly flavor is your favorite?

I’ve never eaten a Jelly Belly in my life… Wait. What is a Jelly Belly?

If you sat down at a bar at this moment, what would you order to drink?

Zinfandel rose.

What was the last book you finished?

Writing – Late Call, my first adult erotic romance. Reading – Forever With You by Laurelin Paige.

What has been your favorite writing project to work on?

Hmm, probably Late Call. It pushed all my limits as a writer, and my MC Dayton, is a blast.

Are there any characters – yours or another author’s – that have stayed in your head after you’ve finished their book?

Yes. I still live with Abbi and Blake in my mind every day because their story is so close to my heart.

What performance would you drop everything to see if it came to your town? (Band, artist, opera, ballet, whatever…)

Really, I’m not sure. I’d like to see a real ballet one day.

Give us a couple of your favorite lines from your WIP…

From Late Call, since I’m revising:

“Your game is very, very dangerous, Miss Black.”

“And you get to play it for a whole six weeks. Aren’t you lucky?”

He curls his fingers around mine at his belt. “The only luck here will be if we leave Vegas without me f*cking you against every wall of our suite.”

Thanks, Emma!

Here’s the info for Emma’s book, The Right Moves, and don’t miss the giveaway at the bottom!

The Right Moves UK CoverHer past is wrought with demons.
His past is full of heartbreak.
Yet he’s the one person that can remind her what it means to live.

Abbi Jenkins never thought she would leave the walls of the mental institution that’s housed her for the last year. Now she has, but that doesn’t mean she’s forgotten everything Pearce put her through.
She knows there’s only one way to deal with the depression that claws at her mind each day, and ballet becomes more than a hobby, a dream. Ballet – and Julliard – becomes a reason to live. Something to hold on for.

Blake Smith left London for one reason and one reason only. Running from the heartbreak of his past was never something he wanted to do, but with constant reminders everywhere he turned, it became his only option. When he arrives in New York City, he vows he’ll keep the promise he made to his sister and get into Juilliard.

But he doesn’t expect to be paired with Abbi in class, the girl whose eyes show a world of pain he’s seen before. Pain he knows too well. As each hour they spend together pulls them closer, Blake can’t fight his need to save her from herself.

Lines blur as their pasts are wrenched into the open, and they have to ask themselves whether they’re too broken to ever to be fixed, or if they’re the healing the other needs.
